Absence Requests

 

 

  1. I have entered a half day holiday in Timesheets > Holiday Requests but a full day has been submitted?

  2. My holiday request was rejected, but I want to apply for the holiday days once again. Why wont the screen allow me?

  3. I have a holiday request that has been approved but I actually took a different number of days to what I requested. How do I change my holiday request?

In order to enter a half day holiday you should tick the box before clicking on the date on the calendar.

 

 

  1. My holiday request was rejected, but I want to apply for the holiday days once again. Why wont the screen allow me?

Ensure that you have clicked Cancel on the screen and the holiday will then be able to be requested again.

 

 

  1. I have a holiday request that has been approved but I actually took a different number of days to what I requested. How do I change my holiday request?

To change an approved holiday request, the original request must first be rejected by the holiday approver.

 

To do this, they go to My Work > My Approvals, find the approved holiday request within the list, open it, and click .

 

You will then need to make a new holiday request with the correct number of days.
