  1. How can I see what work I am expected to do?

  1. How can I see what work I am expected to do?

Go to My Work > My Workspace, where there is a section called 'My Assigned Tasks' which will show which projects you have been assigned to work upon.

You must be set up with approval permissions for relevant users in order to approve timesheets.

 

Contact your administrator if you need this set up.

 

To approve timesheets, go to My Work > My Approvals and select the user entry for the relevant date.

 

You can then approve or reject the timesheet submission for that user.

  1. How do I approve expenses?

You must be set up with approval permissions for relevant users in order to approve expenses.

  1. How can I use the filter to view only submitted timesheets/expenses that require approval in my department?

Ensure that in Admin > Users , each employee is assigned to their correct department.

 

Once this has been done, go to My Work > My Approvals and use the User Department Filter to see the correct timesheets for the particular department.  

 

 

  1. On the approvals page, I can see everybody's timesheets/expense sheets, but I only need to see ones for users who I'm the approver for. How can I change this?

There is an administrator option for each type of approval which enables you to see everybody's approvals.

 

To turn this off, go to Admin > Security Settings > Security Groups and untick the Timesheet administrator/Expense sheet administrator option for your security group.

You will only see items in the list from users who you have been set as the approver for, unless you are an administrator for one of those types of items.

 

Administrator status can be set under Admin > Security Settings > Security Groups, by enabling the Timesheet Administrator/Expense sheet administrator etc. option for your security group.

 

 

  1. I am unable to un-approve a timesheet, it just returns to the same timesheet without un-approving it. How can I un-approve it?

This can happen if a project or task has a status of complete or closed.

 

Projects and tasks need to be open in order to edit approval.  Select the project , open up the project summary page and click "Re-open".

 

You can now edit the project or task and then the timesheet.

 

 

  1. Emails that I send to my staff via ProjectMinder/Time and Budgets are going straight to their junk email folder. How can I stop this?

The email software being used by your company/staff may have email filters set up which are preventing these e-mails being received normally.
