I click 'view report' but nothing happens, just get a blank screen
Why is the Charge Rate column showing 0 for all time and expense items on the Job Costs report?
Why
do I receive the error 'Unable to load client print control' when
I click the
icon on a report?
Yes - our reporting engine supports Excel, Word, XML, PDF and CSV exports.
From within any report select the required option from the report toolbar and click Export.
If you utilise the holiday request feature, the Absence Requests report will give you this information.
If you do not utilise the holiday request feature, you can use the timesheet or timesheet by project reports and filter to the appropriate non-project activity for holiday.

I've recently migrated from TIMEminder and notice that the xxxx column on xxxx report is not giving me the same figures. Why is this?
TIMEminder and V1 Project Accounting both contain a wide variety of time, cost, profit and resourcing reports.
The architectures of the systems are different which can lead to conceptual differences as well as differences in the underlying data.
Please email Support.PA@wearev1.com to request a comprehensive guide which will explain the differences in the reports.
I'm trying to access Report Builder but it is asking me for a username and password. What login details should I use?
Report Builder requires a different username and password to your usual ones - please e-mail Support.PA@wearev1.com to obtain these.
Why is the Time Charge column showing 0 for all time items on the Single Project report, when the users already have Charge out rates set up via Admin > Users?
You have not created a time invoice rule for this project via Projects > Select a project > Invoice Rules. See Creating a time invoice rule. Once you have saved an invoice rule, refresh the report or re-run it - the Time Charge column will now be populated.
You have not run billing to create invoice items - this column is populated based on actual invoice items. See also Job Costs.
Our standard reports are driven by software called Microsoft Reporting Services.
In order to print them a piece of software (ActiveX Control) must be run via your browser, which installs a file called RSPrintClient Class onto your machine.
If this file cannot be installed you will receive the 'Unable to load client print control' error.
Your machine will prevent the automatic running of the ActiveX Control if you do not have sufficient security permissions to allow it.
To resolve the situation please ask one of
your Network Administrators (with appropriate security permissions) to
log on to the machine, run a report and click the
icon.
The ActiveX Control will download and install. Your usual print dialogue will then appear.
Note: To check if
your machine already has the file installed, in Windows, click Start >
Run > Enter C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files into the Open: box
> Click OK. RSPrintClient Class will be listed if it has been installed.
Note: For larger
companies we recognise logging on to every individual machine to install
the file is a big task, which is why we have provided the RSClientPrint.cab
files for you to download in the form of a ZIP archive). Microsoft provides
3 files to choose from depending on the Windows OS architecture in use
x86/x64/ai64.
Right-click this icon and select Save Target As... to download the
files.
Your IT team can use this file to bulk-update all of your machines automatically. See also:

Note:
This is not applicable for Mac users,
as reports must be exported before printing. See also Reporting
on a Mac.
Within Admin > System Settings > Reporting Permissions you can set per security group which reports should be visible within the Reports menu.
