Text substitution

 

Text substitution allows you to substitute key terminology through the user interface with terms which may be more fitting to your company.

 

For example, you may refer to 'Projects' as 'Job' or 'Project Owners' as 'Project Directors'.

 

Substitution is completed via Admin > Company Settings > Text Substitution.

 

Note: Text substitution is not currently supported within reports. Standard terminology will continue to be used within reports.

 

  1. In the left-hand column, enter against the relevant Default Text the Replace With text. In this entry ensure the words are written with the first character upper case.

  2. In the right-hand column, enter against the relevant Default Text the Replace With text. In this entry ensure the words are written with all character's lower case.

  3. Click Save. Substitutions will become immediately visible throughout your system.
