Updated feature ~ Hourly View. A new hourly view is now available in the My Workspace screen. This is for specific use if using hourly calendared resourcing.
Updated feature ~ Printable expense sheet. The printable expense sheet now includes a declaration and signature line for both the user submitting the expenses and the approver. A new setting available in the Admin menu (see Admin section below) gives companies the option to include the current draft timesheet the user was working on when the expense sheet was printed, and how many weeks behind the current week this is.
New feature! ~ Warning if duplicating client, contact or supplier name. If you add a new client, contact or supplier with a name that already exists, you will receive a 'Name is already in use' prompt asking you to confirm if this entry needs to be added.
New feature! ~ Gantt chart for all projects. A new 'Gantt View' sub-menu is available from the main Projects menu. This view allows you to get a company-wide gantt view of all projects. Filter options within this view allow you to filter by project owner; project manager; status and department. You can also exclude projects from this view where no gantt bar is displayed.
New feature! ~ Force user to log time and expenses to a task. A new option in the project summary screen allows a project to be configured to force users to log timesheet and expense entries (including purchase invoices) to a task.
New feature! ~ Control user access to add, delete and edit project details. A new security group setting allows you to control who has permissions to do the following within the Projects menu. See the Admin section below for details on how to set this.

Edit or delete a task name which has had time or expenses recorded to it
New feature! ~ Hourly resourcing. You can now resource staff to tasks in hourly detail. In the Work Structure screen, selecting the new 'Hours' option will convert all numbers entered to company working hours. In the Resources screen, a new 'Hours' view allows you to calendar resource to the exact hour.
Updated feature ~ Invoices with a status other than 'Draft' can not be edited. To edit an invoice that has been Sent, Part-Paid or Paid you must set the invoice status back to Draft.
Updated feature ~ New report filter selection process. A faster, easier method for selecting report filters has been introduced. Please see the report filters tutorial page for full details.
New feature! ~ Reporting default settings. You can set the following default settings for all appropriate reports when run from the main Reports menu. (This setting is not currently effective when running report from the project report quick launch menu).
Sort projects by code or name
Include open, closed or open & closed projects in report
Set default start date for report
Set default end date for report
New feature! ~ Project Administrator permissions. A new general security permission called Project Administrator is for use when users in this security group have project access. This setting controls certain project permissions as identified above in the Projects release notes.
New feature! ~ Checking the option 'Show user's current timesheet draft date on printable expensesheet' will do exactly this when a user prints their expense sheet.
Updated feature ~ Sage Line 50 export format.
All sales invoice items export with invoice date not invoice item date.
Negative invoices (credit notes) do not export as negative number (Type of SC identifies the value is a credit).
All expenses where the payment type is non-reimbursable export as type VP and use the payment type Account Reference instead of the user Account Reference.
All expenses export with the 'Expense Type' in the details column.
