Improved System Infrastructure

We have upgraded our production Web Server to provide an even higher degree of security and stability for our customers.

 

Our Disaster Recovery infrastructure has also been enhanced to ensure your data is even more safe, recoverable and secure.


An upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 has been put in place, which also benefits security and stability.

What do I need to do next?

No action is required as this is already in affect!

Improved report layouts

As part of the upgrade, we have an enhanced report viewer (Report Viewer 2010) that has improved report layouts and formatting.

What do I need to do next?

This update will automatically appear when you view a report.

Improved export to Excel formatting

As part of the upgrade, we have an enhanced report viewer (Report Viewer 2010) that has improved the formatting of reports when they are exported to Excel.

What do I need to do next?

This update will automatically appear when you export a report into Excel.

 

The report will now appear in Excel in the same format as your initial screen view.

Export to Word functionality

As part of the upgrade, we have an enhanced report viewer (Report Viewer 2010) that provides the option of exporting into Word.

What do I need to do next?

This update will automatically appear as an export option when you view a report.

 

Select the option in a report.

 

The export to 'Word' option will now appear in the list.

 

Improved exporting to CSV Functionality.

As part of the upgrade, we have an enhanced report viewer (Report Viewer 2010) that now automatically formats CSV files into columns when opened in Excel.

What do I need to do next?

This update will automatically appear when you export to CSV from a report.

 

Please note: The following reports exported into CSV format have a new style due to the recent upgrade:

 

-Printable Expense Sheet.

-Printable Invoice.

-Printable Purchase Order.

-Printable Timesheet.

-Single Project.

-Utilisation Rates.

 

This may require an update to your import routines.
