Identify projects that are taking longer than planned to complete and may require more resources in order to complete on time

Example:

Project start date = 01 March 2007

Project end date = 30 March 2007 (30 days planned duration inclusive of non-working days)

Current date = 06 March 2007 (6th day of planned duration)

Time consumption = 20% (6 / 30 = 0.20)

Days allocated

Planned days allocated to project team workers

If no workers have been assigned to a task the figure will be 0, regardless of the task duration. If workers have been assigned then it shows the number of assigned days in project Work Structure

Days consumed

Total no. days consumed from timesheet entries for project

Includes draft, submitted and approved timesheets but not rejected ones

Days remaining

No. of remaining days for project

Total allocated days – Consumed days

Resource consumed

Percentage of resource consumed for days budgeted against days consumed

Consumed time divided by allocated time

 

Example:

Days allocated = 10 days

Days consumed = 4 days

Resource consumed = 40% (4 / 10  = 0.40)

Total charge for budgeted time for the task

Budgeted hours multiplied by the charge rates as specified by the project Time charge rule

Spend to Date

Total charge for time spent on the task
