News

 

News items can be recorded and will display on Home > News for all users who have access to this page.

 

Access to this page is defined by the user’s security group settings, which are configured in Admin > System Settings > Security Groups.

 

Current News will always be the latest news item.

 

Previous News items will be available to view for as long as they are marked as Live by clicking on the Date and News Item Description link.

 

An image can be added to the news item and will display above the text

 

News items are maintained in Admin > Company Settings > News.

 

  1. Click on New News Item.

  2. Enter the Title.

  3. Select the Date from the calendar – this will display against the news item on the Home > News page.

  4. Ensure the Live box is ticked or the news item will not display.

  5. To include an image Browse to the location of the image file and double click – this can be a .jpg of up to 2mb.

  6. Type the details of the news item in the Story box – up to 8000 characters can be entered. You can use basic HTML coding to format the text you enter.

  7. Click on Save and Close.

  8. To completely delete a News Item click on the orange cross at the end of the row.

  9. To make a News Item unavailable for viewing select it and then untick the Live box.

  10. Click on Save and Close.
