Departments can be created and then allocated to users and projects in this section.
These are then used for reporting and dashboard usage to easily report on specific projects or staff.
Departments are maintained via Admin > Company Settings > Departments. The only required field for adding a new department is the Name.
Click on the option New Department.
Enter the department Name.
Select the department Owner. This is only required if you wish to setup a hierarchical department structure.
Enter the E-mail address.
Enter the Phone number.
Enter the Fax number.
Enter the Mobile number.
Enter Line 1 of the department address.
Enter Line 2 of the department address.
Enter the Town.
Enter the County.
Enter the Postcode.
Enter the Country.
Upload the Department Logo. This is only required if you wish users assigned to this department to see a logo different to the main company logo uploaded. See Adding a company logo below.
Click Save and Close.
Target Revenue is used in the Revenue vs Target(*) report and Dashboard > Revenue v Target(*) dashlet to help you track forecast/actual revenue against a monthly target.
Select an existing department.
Click on Target Revenue.
Use the Year drop down selection to select the year you wish to assign target revenue to.
Enter the appropriate values in each month.
Click on the Add button.
Click on Save and Close.
You can add your company logo so that users see this on the home page when they log in.
Select an existing department.
Click on Browse against Upload New Logo and locate the logo on your computer to upload.
Click on Save.
The logo will automatically appear on the home page.
