Task Custom FieldsTo add to our existing custom field functionality for projects, contacts and users, we have implemented task level custom fields.
This allows for greater granularity of data to be stored at task level in a consistent manner. Custom field types include text, numbers, dates, single and multi-select drop downs.
Utilising task custom field data with data exports, report builder or our API will allow you to not only store and view task specific data within ProjectMinder, but also create any number of reporting or third-party interfaces to meet your business needs. |

Absence Requests UpdatesFollowing the product release Thursday 13th August we have re-introduced the ability to manage holidays in a strict ‘days only’ environment.
This is intended to cater for the following scenarios:

User Charge Rates to 4 Decimal PlacesTo resolve rounding issues that can occur when billing for time charge work, we have increased the decimal place entry from 2dp to 4dp for user hourly charge rates. This allows 2, 3 or 4 decimal place entries to be used in the following places:

Updated feature ~ Notes and split of core and extra time for automatic timesheet entries from approved absence requests. Timesheet entries created from approved absence requests can now have notes and work details added to them and the time allocated as either core or extra.
New feature! ~ Allow automatic timesheet entries to be edited. A new admin feature in Admin > Company Settings > Non Project Activities allows you to choose whether to allow user to edit automatic entries created from approved absence requests.
Updated feature ~ Display of holiday details in days and/or hours. If user holiday is managed in days, only a days figure will be displayed in the Absence Requests panel in Timesheet > Absence Request entry.
Updated feature ~ Non working time description. The description under Non Working Time in the Absence Requests panel in Timesheet > Absence Request entry is now set by the text assigned in Admin > Company Settings > Non Project Activities. (see the screenshot's further below for details).
Updated feature ~ Screen layout. The project summary screen has had minor layout changes made to improve the general look and feel of the page.
New feature! ~ Task custom fields. Task Custom fields can now be added and used in tasks via Projects > Work Structure/Gantt/Resources.
New feature! ~ Time invoice rules Hourly Rate exceptions can be entered to 3 or 4 decimal places. Additional decimal place rates may be required for precise billing calculations when totaling hourly time charge invoice items in order to calculate daily rates. See Projects > Invoice Rules for details.
